Marco's Comments:
This book is in two parts: the first one is the biography of Rovi, the popular Welsh magician; the second his tricks. While most of his tricks are easy to perform, in his hand they were very effective. I had a couple of chats with A. Brahams (who gave me the book) about Rovi and he told me he was a person who was pushing magic all the time, always eager to show you a trick. I know he was very popular in England. The best part of the book is the biography, according to many. It has some interesting tricks but they all are of the "take a card and I'll find it" variety. What is interesting is to see how you can make a name for yourself with some standard tricks.
